Getting vax against Swine Flu
If it comes back it may well be more virulent. If you are infected you could well infect children pregnant women and those more vulnerable with chronic health conditions.
Swine flu vaccine
No flu vaccine is fully tested. There is no reason to believe it works for a start. There is no evidence (double-blind, placebo testing) as to its results, just a lot of medical salesmen who have conned politicians who don't understand the issue into giving them large amounts of money.
Right on visitor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People die from sickness and disease every day. I have never in my 51 years gotten a flu shot and don't plan to start now. It's just another form of Political scare tactics and mass hypnosis.

Why not a vaccine against pollution ?
Pollution kills directly or undirectly more than 30 million people each year. Thousands of children die every day because of polluted water. Shouldn't we find a vaccine for that ? Or perhaps we should eradicate those who profit from pollution and do not care about the consequences... Swine flu allows big companies to get rid of their stocks of Tamiflu and get richer...
Against pollution, but no vaccine
I think what you said about the consequences that the pollution brings about is correct, and we need to take measures to protect our environment. If human beings can invent a vaccine agaisnt pollution water or the disease that is caused by pollution, then there would be more people mistreat our environment without thinking what kind of results they will face when our planet is heavinly polluted.
Great Idea!
This swine flu mess is all about big pharma making a ton of money off of our fears. Many more people are killed from polluted drinking water each year. Vaccinate against pollution!
vaccination
I will not have a swine flu vaccination, i've had the flu ONCE in my life,(60+yrs)and see no reason why i should.Even so, it amazes me how many people urge me to do so.why does the Australian vaccine contain mercury?
Think twice before getting vaccinated
So far only China, the US and Thailand have the vaccine for the H1N1 flu, and now there are reports show there maybe side effect for the people who got vaccinated, especially for those who already have the antibody. Besides, it doesn't meann you will be sentenced to death when you are infected with the H1N1 flu without get vaccinated. So I will think twice before I get vaccinated.
No need...
For me, at least. Shared this tiny little flat with my sister when she had it (lab confirmed, no hypochondria here) and came out without getting it, so I'm assuming I have the antibodies necessary. A note on virulence; I doubt it will evolve to be more virulent, unless it evolves to be transmitted by a vector. Doesn't make sense, form an evolutionary view point, to kill your host before you get your RNA-packet spawn out.
What's after the super-bug
Vaccines have been known to cause viruses to evolve/mutate at a rapid rate.... Causing super-bugs... Not something I want to help contribute too... And after the super-bugs start evolving?
At the end of the day the original flu killed lots of people, more than the swine flu, and we adapt... But if we do keep pushing viruses to evolve rapidly, while limiting our bodies ability to come up with natural inbuilt antibodies to these new threats we will not be able to survive. So I'm a "no"! But not no, the risk has passed, but no, the risk of virus mutation is too real.
