The first Mars astronauts should be prepared to spend the rest of their lives there, in the same way that European pioneers to America knew they wouldn't return home, says Buzz Aldrin.

NO it is a bit too early with your technology to send anyone anywhere and survive for a long periods of time.
Maybe in a time.
