Every living room is different. And every living room has different acoustics. This can be a nightmare when it comes to getting the most out of your home theatre system. Sony's new HTDDW1500 HTiB (Home Theatre in a Box) system uses a new technology called DCAC (Digital Cinema Auto Calibration) to deal with this fiddly issue. The HTDDW1500 comes with a special microphone that actively 'listens' to your space, detects each of the speakers in the system and adjusts the volumes to give a balanced sound.

The HTDDW1500 is also exceptional because it ships as a 6.2 speaker system, which means it has six satellite surround sound speakers and no less than two subwoofers. There'll be no missing that explosion with these puppies. It also boasts a massive 1,170 watts of power, so be sure to calibrate it for loud.
