Asus is a relative newcomer to the smart phone market, but the P525 is an impressive example of everything a modern smart phone can do. This quad-band GSM mobile phone supports WiFi wireless networking for communicating with your home or office network. It can also run the popular internet telephony service, Skype, thus saving you call costs when using the phone over your wireless network. It lacks the full QWERTY keyboard found on some PDA phones, but makes up for it with a touch screen and a slick interface. Typing long messages is a bit cumbersome, but navigation and tapping out short texts is a cinch. The phone also packs a two-megapixel digital camera, which cleverly doubles as a business card reader. |
