A year ago, some bold Australian journalists joined with an equally visionary businessman to launch COSMOS, a mass-circulation science magazine that was visually gorgeous and intellectually stimulating.

Defying all odds in this publication niche, COSMOS is not only still going but gaining strength.

It's possible that Micro is biased, since COSMOS has published two articles from us. But check it out and then ask yourself why Canada, with a 50 per cent higher population than Australia, doesn't have an English-language magazine devoted to science.
