![]() The film versus digital debate raged for over a decade, and while film remains a favourite of purists and artists, the professionals have leapt upon digital SLRs with a rapacious appetite. The Nikon D2Xs is the latest update to the already successful D2X, and will be a popular choice with photographers who have already invested thousands of dollars in Nikon professional lenses. The D2Xs sports the same 12.4 million pixel CMOS sensor as the D2X, and is capable of capturing images of up to an incredible 4,288 x 2,848. It also has an improved viewfinder for taking high-speed shots and a larger and crisper 2.5 in (6.35 cm) LCD screen at the rear for reviewing your photos. There's also a swathe of other improvements and fine-tuned settings to make it a powerhouse digital SLR for professionals and consumers alike. |
